My favorite movie

I like to watch movie very much. Three years ago, a movie theater built near my house, so I often go there. I have many favorite movies. Today, I’m going to introduce one of them.
It’s “GLADIATOR”. It was released in 2000. It won 73rd Academy Award. I watched it for the first time four years ago, because my brother strongly recommended it to me.

The scene of the story is laid in 180 the Roman Empire. A hero’s name is Maximus. An old emperor wants Maximus to take the next emperor. The old emperor‘s son, Commodus knows it, and he kills his father. Commodus becomes a new emperor. Maximus’s wife and son are murdered by Commodus. Then, Maximus deepen a desire for revenge to him. At last, Maximus become a gladiator, and he fight against Commodus for revenge and a peace of the Roman Empire.

Russell Crowe played Maximus. I was moved to tears by his acting. It was really good. He has played a lot of movies. His popular movies are “The Insider”, “A beautiful Mind” and “Master and Commander”. He was born in New Zealand in 1964, and he grew up in Australia. He married an actress, Daniela Spencer in 2003. Now, they have two children.

“GLADIATOR” directed by Ridley Scott. He is a famous director. His popular movies are “Alien”, “Hannibal” and “Kingdom of Heaven”. I have not watched them yet, so I do want to watch them.

Now, I have a lot of movies which I want to watch. In this summer holidays, I will watch them after I will return from America to Japan.

Essay 05

The worst day in my life

The worst day in my life is my school trip in junior high school.
We went on a three day trip to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara.
First day, we left Kumamoto for Osaka by plane and went to Kyoto by bus. After that, we looked around some historical buildings. For example, kinkaku temple, nizyou castle and kiyomizu temple. All buildings attracted my heart. The scene from stage of kiyomizu especially was very beautiful. In the evening of the day, we arrived at the hotel where we stayed at. The night, I noticed an accident of my body. I was terribly tired and felt hot in my body. A health teacher told me to check my temperature. I had a fever of 38 degrees. I was disappointed it, but I worked hard to pass away my fever because I didn’t want to stay in bed without doing nothing during the rest of trip. After I ate a few foods, I went to bed at once. Though I really wanted to enjoy talking with my friends, I put up with it. My friends and teachers cared for me while I slept.
Next day, my fever came down fortunately. My friends, teachers and I were very glad it. I was able to enjoy the rest of trip. I really thanked my friends and teachers who cared for me.
What I had a fever on trip was worst, but I could know kindness of a lot of people.

Essay 04

My memorable day in my life
I have many memorable days in my life. I will talk about one of them.
I traveled to Pusan with my family in the last spring vacation. This was my first time to go abroad. I was interested in foreign countries very much since I was young and had strong thought to want to go to the foreign countries. I like a Korean drama. In addition, I like Korean barbecue. I studied Korean by a class of a school last year for one year. It was very interesting for me. This let Korea be interested in me still more. Therefore I was very glad when it was sure that we went to Pusan.
It took three hours by high speed ship to be called Beetle to Pusan. We were useful and I was pleasant because I could read the Hangul alphabet. We ate various Korean foods. For example, it was kimchi, sanchu, bibimba, purukogi, chizimi. All was delicious! I tried to order in Korean at a restaurant. However, it was not easy. I couldn't tell a clerk once. I was glad when I could it second. I was surprised at a thing with many Koreans who could speak Japanese. It was a good stimulus for me.
Though I was instant because it was a trip of night second, I was substantial very much.
It was had an important experience for me who learn the foreign languages as for I really went to the foreign country and was involved in culture, and having speaking with the foreigners.

Essay 03

My favorite animal

I don’t like animals very much. I have been run after by stray dogs, so I am afraid of animals.
However, I like a certain bird. It is swallows. Four years have passed since I came to like them and they build a nest in the eaves of my house. They come to my house and build the nest every in the latter part of March. In April, she lays eggs and sits to warm them. In the former part of May, the eggs hatch. Then, their parent birds give them some foods. In the latter part of May, they begin to practice flying and leave the nest finally.

The parent birds often fight to defend their young because sparrows attack them. Sparrows have broken the nest once. My father fixed a board near the nest two years ago. Then, the parent birds have rested there, and they have gone to bed there instead of a bed at night. I am sometimes awakened by the chirping of them. They are early riser. They get up at four o’clock, so I am trouble. However, I like them. They are so cute. They are nothing less than my children. I enjoy the observations on them. My family watches the growth of them. I’m looking forward to their coming to my house next spring.

Essay 02

My favorite object
My favorite object is a piano in my house. When I was 5 years old, my parents gave me it. I had learned how to play the piano for 13 years. I like to play the piano very much. It makes me happy. However I didn't always enjoy playing the piano. I sometimes didn't like to play the piano and I didn't go to a lesson. I didn't play the piano for a long time. Then a teacher, my friends and my family help me and I could get over a setback. And now, I do love piano! I don’t live without a piano. I have walked with my piano. My piano has many memories.
I gave up learning how to play the piano when I was 15 years old. I am having regretted it. However when I have a free time, I play the piano. But I seldom play the piano lately. Because I am busy with a study and a part-time job. I want to play the piano much more! I often go to a music shop in downtown and buy music. I am about 1hour there. I like to look for music very much.
I have two dreams. One is to buy a grand piano and a new my home. And I want to put a grand piano there. The other is to have my child learn to play the piano if I have my child. When do the dreams come true?

My name is Nami Murasaka. Nice to meet you. I’m 19 years old. First of all, I will talk about my family. My father is 57 years old. He worked at the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. His hobby is fishing. When he goes fishing, he cooks the fish. He is good at cooking! My mother is 53 years old. She is a homewoker. She was a kindergarten teacher. Her hobby is a craftwork. She is wonderful at knitting. She knits mufflers, sweaters. I’m learning how to knit, but I’m poor at it. She is usually tender, but she is sometimes strict for me. I have a brother . He is 27 years old. He is a real estate appraiser. He lives by himself. So I seldom see him lately. He plays soccer once a week. He has played soccer since he was an elementary school student. He loves the soccer. He is comprehensible for me. He always gives me an advice. I have been helped him many times. I have been interested in the foreign country, the foreign language, the culture of America. I want to communicate in English very well. My hobbies are listening to the music, playing the piano, and singing a song. I do love music. I often go to a karaoke with my friends. I sing enthusiastically!
