I live in Koshi city of Kumamoto prefecture.
I have lived there since 3 years old.

Koshi city is next to Kumamoto City.

In February 27, 2006, Koshi town and Nishigoshi town merged, and became one "Koshi City". I lived in Koshi town side.

The area of the city is 53.17 square kilometers. The population of one is 53,600.

The picture of left is a logotype of Koshi city.

The motif is a initial "K" of Koshi city.

The point of red shows citizen's passion to city government.

Essay 02

My favorite object
My favorite object is a piano in my house. When I was 5 years old, my parents gave me it. I had learned how to play the piano for 13 years. I like to play the piano very much. It makes me happy. However I didn't always enjoy playing the piano. I sometimes didn't like to play the piano and I didn't go to a lesson. I didn't play the piano for a long time. Then a teacher, my friends and my family help me and I could get over a setback. And now, I do love piano! I don’t live without a piano. I have walked with my piano. My piano has many memories.
I gave up learning how to play the piano when I was 15 years old. I am having regretted it. However when I have a free time, I play the piano. But I seldom play the piano lately. Because I am busy with a study and a part-time job. I want to play the piano much more! I often go to a music shop in downtown and buy music. I am about 1hour there. I like to look for music very much.
I have two dreams. One is to buy a grand piano and a new my home. And I want to put a grand piano there. The other is to have my child learn to play the piano if I have my child. When do the dreams come true?

My name is Nami Murasaka. Nice to meet you. I’m 19 years old. First of all, I will talk about my family. My father is 57 years old. He worked at the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. His hobby is fishing. When he goes fishing, he cooks the fish. He is good at cooking! My mother is 53 years old. She is a homewoker. She was a kindergarten teacher. Her hobby is a craftwork. She is wonderful at knitting. She knits mufflers, sweaters. I’m learning how to knit, but I’m poor at it. She is usually tender, but she is sometimes strict for me. I have a brother . He is 27 years old. He is a real estate appraiser. He lives by himself. So I seldom see him lately. He plays soccer once a week. He has played soccer since he was an elementary school student. He loves the soccer. He is comprehensible for me. He always gives me an advice. I have been helped him many times. I have been interested in the foreign country, the foreign language, the culture of America. I want to communicate in English very well. My hobbies are listening to the music, playing the piano, and singing a song. I do love music. I often go to a karaoke with my friends. I sing enthusiastically!

When I saw this blog, I was very surprised!! Because I have read the book too!!
And I also like the book because the book is unique!

I practice driving.

I got a driver's license the other day. I don't want to be a driver on paper only! So I practice driving my father's car lately. The car is LAND CRUISER. It's a big car!! The accelerator of the car is so heavy. So I have to put my foot hard!! When I drive the car, my father sit on passenger seat. He gives me some advise.

I want to drive well as early as possible and drive far! (^ν^)

DAYHIKE

Yesterday, I joined a club activity.

I am a member of SAMPO club. SAMPO means a walk!

So we walked from school to Lake Ezu.

It took about 1 hour.

When we arrived there, we had a lunch and played games.

Some people rode a boat, others dived into the lake!!!!!

It was a too hot day. So I was too tired...

But I enjoyed SAMPO☆

Where do we go in a next walk??

Book Review 1-04

I read "L. A. Detective"

In Los Angeles. Len Samuel was a private detective.
One day, Carmen Blane was a prisoner of the Young Ones.
They wanted $100,000! Carmen's father was a rich man.
But he was also a bad man...
Len Samuel had a dangerous job!!

This story was short. But it was fun!
I like a detective story.
When I was a elementary school student,
my dream was to be a detective!! This is true!!
Because I thought the detective's job seemed to be so excited!!
I have been a fan of DETECTIVE CONAN for a long time.
I love CONAN★

I get a driver's license!!!

I went to a driving school for about two months.
It was very hard to be successful at both a school, a part-time job and the driving school...
Today, I passed a final exam at Kumamoto Prefecture Driver's License Center.
At last I got a driver's license!! \(^Ｑ^)/
I'm very very happy now♪ Because I don't have to go to the driving school any more!
I want to get my car and drive～☆”

Children's Day

Today is May 5 , Children's Day!
So I'll talk about Children's Day....

It's the Boys' Festival, just as March 3 is the Girls' Festival.
You can see carp-shaped streamers there and here. It's called koinobori.
It's made of cloth and hoisted on tall bamboo poles to celebrate Children's Day.

Why is carp used to celebrate the Boys' Day??
It's because we consider carp to be full of energy. Carp swim upstream and is believed to go up the waterfall.

We display dolls of warriors and miniature armor.
And we eat chimaki. It's a Japanese sweet.

yakiniku

I had a dinner in SAIRO with my family. SAIRO is a yakiniku(a broiled meat) restaurant. It's near to my house. It's about 15 minutes' on foot. The weather was fine, too! So we went there on foot. The night breeze was pleasant. I like a yakiniku very much, a tan-shio(a fried salted cow tongue) particularly . So I ate ate . . . too much!!
I'm so full up!!! And I'm happy☆

July 23 !

Today's class of Kaigai Kenshu Preparation, I got a schedule for Kaigai Kenshu.
The departure date is July 23 !
I realized that I'll go to America in this Summer.
I am so excited at the thought of it.
I think I have to prepare for Kaigai Kenshu much harder !
