Book Review 1-06

I read "BETWEEN TWO WORLDS"
I'm going to introduce the story.

Joanna Jimbuku is a nurse in north Australia, where she works with a Flying Doctor, Bob Mills. He and she go everywhere to help the sick by The Bluebird, Bob's plane. One day, a baby is so ill that Joanna has to take her to hospital in Sydney. A few days later, the baby becomes fine, so she is going to return to her hometown. However, a doctor of the hospital in Sydney asked her, "I want you to work here because one of my girls is leaving next week and we need someone new. You are a nice nurse!" She doesn't accept the offer because she doesn't want to leave her beloved hometown!

teruteru-bozu

The rain came down in buckets today.
When I went to part-time job by bicycle, I was drenched with by rain.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
In Kumamoto, the rainy season has set in on June 13.
When is the rainy season over???

The other day, I made teruteru-bozu in my workplace.
They are displayed in the shop now. Teruteru-bozu is a paper doll as a charm to bring fine weather!!! I made a lot of them, so I'm sure that the rainy season is over soon.☆ミ

dentist

I went to a dentist office today.
I went there just one week ago. I had a appointment of next Monday.
My teeth really hurt when I eat a chocolate, so I can't eat it.（＞х＜”）
I want to finish treating my teeth until kaigai kenshu, and eat a chocolate soon!!!

kakinoha-zushi

I ate kakinoha-zushi today.

My father got it from his friend.

kakinoha-zushi is a kind of the sushi.

It's rolled up sushi with the leaf of the persimmon.

It's nice taste!

It is one of my favorite food.

Book Review 1-05

I read "Karen and the ARTIST".
I'm going to talk about the story.

Karen is an air hostess. Her work takes her to many cities. In Rome, she finds some beautiful paintings by a poor, unknown artist, Antonio Brunetti. He is in trouble because his paintings are not sold at all. He can't eat foods, and he's got the ful. She decides to help him. But selling the paintings of an unknown artist isn't easy. She goes the rounds to sell them. At last, she sells them in very good galleries in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. He is very glad it. So she decides to be his agent from now on. He paints the pictures and she sell them for him. He becomes a rich man. He and she are happy....

I think Karen is a very kind person!!!!

Essay 05

The worst day in my life

The worst day in my life is my school trip in junior high school.
We went on a three day trip to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara.
First day, we left Kumamoto for Osaka by plane and went to Kyoto by bus. After that, we looked around some historical buildings. For example, kinkaku temple, nizyou castle and kiyomizu temple. All buildings attracted my heart. The scene from stage of kiyomizu especially was very beautiful. In the evening of the day, we arrived at the hotel where we stayed at. The night, I noticed an accident of my body. I was terribly tired and felt hot in my body. A health teacher told me to check my temperature. I had a fever of 38 degrees. I was disappointed it, but I worked hard to pass away my fever because I didn’t want to stay in bed without doing nothing during the rest of trip. After I ate a few foods, I went to bed at once. Though I really wanted to enjoy talking with my friends, I put up with it. My friends and teachers cared for me while I slept.
Next day, my fever came down fortunately. My friends, teachers and I were very glad it. I was able to enjoy the rest of trip. I really thanked my friends and teachers who cared for me.
What I had a fever on trip was worst, but I could know kindness of a lot of people.

Essay 04

My memorable day in my life
I have many memorable days in my life. I will talk about one of them.
I traveled to Pusan with my family in the last spring vacation. This was my first time to go abroad. I was interested in foreign countries very much since I was young and had strong thought to want to go to the foreign countries. I like a Korean drama. In addition, I like Korean barbecue. I studied Korean by a class of a school last year for one year. It was very interesting for me. This let Korea be interested in me still more. Therefore I was very glad when it was sure that we went to Pusan.
It took three hours by high speed ship to be called Beetle to Pusan. We were useful and I was pleasant because I could read the Hangul alphabet. We ate various Korean foods. For example, it was kimchi, sanchu, bibimba, purukogi, chizimi. All was delicious! I tried to order in Korean at a restaurant. However, it was not easy. I couldn't tell a clerk once. I was glad when I could it second. I was surprised at a thing with many Koreans who could speak Japanese. It was a good stimulus for me.
Though I was instant because it was a trip of night second, I was substantial very much.
It was had an important experience for me who learn the foreign languages as for I really went to the foreign country and was involved in culture, and having speaking with the foreigners.

petit taiyaki

I ate taiyaki today.

Taiyaki is bream-shaped waffle stuffed with bean paste.

A wheat flour batter is baked in the tai-shaped mold with a sweet bean paste filling. There are custard cream filling and chocolate filling recently, too.

Taiyaki which I ate today were very smaller than normal size.

They were so pretty!!!!!!!!!

I could eat them by a mouthful!!!!!!!!!

This word is a theme of a singer's concert tour.
Who is the singer??
It is Naotaro Moriyama!!!

The other day, I went to his concert with Yuko.
It was held in Kumamoto prefectural theater next to KGU.
This was his first time to hold a concert in Kumamoto.
The concert hall seated 1,173 people!!!!
He is a famous singer who has many hits.
He continued singing for about 3 hours!
His voice was much more beautiful and powerful than one of his CD.
The hall was wrapped in a peaceful atmosphere.
I became his fan more.

●○My grandmother○●

My grandmother came to my house by train today.
She lives in Hitoyoshi, so I seldom meet her.
I met her after an interval of a half year.
I enjoyed talking with her.
Maybe, I'll meet her in the New Year holidays.

She is 83 years old. She is full of energy!! Her hobbies are groundgolf, farming and talking.
She has a large stock of knowledge too. I respect her.
I want her to live long forever....

Essay 03

My favorite animal

I don’t like animals very much. I have been run after by stray dogs, so I am afraid of animals.
However, I like a certain bird. It is swallows. Four years have passed since I came to like them and they build a nest in the eaves of my house. They come to my house and build the nest every in the latter part of March. In April, she lays eggs and sits to warm them. In the former part of May, the eggs hatch. Then, their parent birds give them some foods. In the latter part of May, they begin to practice flying and leave the nest finally.

The parent birds often fight to defend their young because sparrows attack them. Sparrows have broken the nest once. My father fixed a board near the nest two years ago. Then, the parent birds have rested there, and they have gone to bed there instead of a bed at night. I am sometimes awakened by the chirping of them. They are early riser. They get up at four o’clock, so I am trouble. However, I like them. They are so cute. They are nothing less than my children. I enjoy the observations on them. My family watches the growth of them. I’m looking forward to their coming to my house next spring.

Fukuoka

I went to Fukuoka with my mother and my brother the day before yesterday.
I met my brother after a long absence because he lives by himself.
It took 1 hour and a half by car to Fukuoka.
First, we went to Marinoa City FUKUOKA.
Many items were price down because of a summer sale period!!!
I got some clothes and sandal. I was so happy!☆
Next, we went to Tenjin.
There were many people there.
We were tired because we walked around, but we had a very good day.^^

Today, June 10th is my birthday!

I became 20 years old.

I had a part-time job today.

People of my workplace celebrated my birthday.

I was very glad!!

I'm working part-time as a patissier assistant in a cake shop, so patissier gave me a special birthday cake! It was sooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to be a wonderful adult.☆(^ ^)☆
